1. Male or female senior must be in the top 20% of his/her class and have an SAT score of at least 1000.
2. He/she must have applied to an accredited college or university in the healthcare field.
3. Scholarship award is based on the following criteria (not necessarily in any order of importance):

   a. academic standing
   b. class rank
   c. demonstrated financial need
   d. extra-curricular activities
   e. informal interview with Scholarship committee
   f. demonstrated promise of academic success
   g. currently a senior at a local high school
   

4. The scholarship committee will decide how the money is awarded.
5. If a scholarship recipient does not use the funds awarded to him/her, the money would be used at the discretion of the scholarship committee.
6. The usual scholarship is $1,000 ($500 per semester payable directly to the school in the recipient's name).
7. All applications must be received at our office by 5:00 pm on the first Friday in March.
